The CSI Companies is currently seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract-to-hire position with one of our clients, one of the largest physician-led healthcare delivery networks in the United States, a Fortune 100 healthcare provider based out of their Tampa, FL offices. Status: Contract Location: Tampa Florida 33624 Effective Date / Tentative Start Date: Interviewing Immediately! Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Pay: $20-23 (Weekly Pay!) Job Description/Responsibilities: 1. Preparing patients before drawing blood, and Explaining blood draw procedures to patients and answering any questions about the process 2. Following all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain sanitary work areas 3. Gathering medical testing materials, including needles, sample vials, blood storage bags and test tubes 4. Verifying patient information and labeling blood and Urine samples properly. 5. Accurately updating patient information in EMR organization’s database. 6. Helping nervous or frightened patients remain calm during blood draws with compassion. 7. Working with CA , supervising Physicians and following their directions at all times. Minimum Job Requirements: 1. Professional certification in phlebotomy from a recognized program. 2. Ability to successfully draw blood from patients with minimal or no complications 3. Detail-oriented and committed to ensuring patient confidentiality 4. Excellent motor skills and the ability to stand for long periods of time. 5. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. 6. Strong Data entry and computer skills in EMR systems with strong attention to details. 7. Able to draw an avg 60 patients with little or no assistance daily. 8.
